A standout project that earned a finalist position in the KBB Review Designer of the Year 2023, the Royal York Shower is a striking example of contemporary luxury with a bold, masculine edge. Designed for a modern bachelor pad, this space combines custom craftsmanship, high-end materials, and statement details to create a shower room that is both stylish and functional.
At the heart of the design is custom-made furniture and panels, featuring a refined slatted oak detail that adds warmth and texture, balancing the space’s sleek, industrial aesthetic. The matte black brassware and towel rail reinforce the masculine, minimalist vibe, offering a strong contrast against the lighter surfaces.
The shower itself is defined by a fluted glass panel, providing privacy while allowing light to flow through, enhancing the sense of space. The terrazzo-style floor tiles introduce subtle pattern and texture, while the large-format concrete-effect wall tiles create a raw, architectural feel that grounds the design in urban sophistication.
A designer ‘Chime’ heated rail adds a touch of sculptural elegance, complementing the space’s seamless blend of function and form. A standout feature is the bespoke mirror with an integrated basin spout, where the controls are thoughtfully positioned on the quartz countertop, maintaining a clean and uncluttered aesthetic.
Feature lighting completes the space, offering versatile illumination for any occasion—whether creating a dramatic mood or a bright, refreshing start to the day.
